Big- LaLa Devon	We stayed at mylos for 2 weeks and i have to say it was the best holiday we have ever had in Crete and this was mainly down to Dimitri and his family.... you are made to feel you are staying with them and nothing is too much trouble for them. Although the complex is small you get a real group atmosphere and if you are as lucky as we were the other people made the holiday even more enjoyable and departure days turned into party days with everyone waiting for the coaches ( some goodbyes were more tearful that others) even till 2:30 am for one family.... bar-b-que night is a real must as the food is awsome and although it cost 15 euro's it was well worth it and the entertainment was fun afterwards. Hersonisos is a 10 min taxi ride or a 40 min walk or dimitri will sort you out a car hire deal if you feel brave enough..... we did and saw most of the island in the 2 weeks we were there all in all ...if you have booked to go you will have a brilliant holiday...

Jonathan Antill England	i went last year 2008 and though ii,ve stayed in Greece previously, i was well impressed with the Mylos. No hazzle getting there, staright in a taxi 30 euro's. The complex is quiet by day, just what we wanted and comes alive in the evening until you decide to go to bed, even when we went into Hersonassos we always came back for drinks to Mylos, Demitri & Yhannis are truely the best hosts you will have the good fortune to meet and are always around to provide advise and Vodka. Magnificant setting and overall location sandwiched in between Hersonassos and Annisaras. Would recommend to anyone going to Crete, really that good! will defo be going again this year with family and friends...... Jonathan & his Posse

BrookLeeds Leeds	We arrived at the hoel early hours on Saturday Morning, and was welcomed by Evo, who helped me by carrying my heavy suit case up to our very large spacious room, which overlooked the lovley pool to the left and windmill to the right. The staff, Dimitri and Evo and family were very welcoming and always asking how the family were, and what our plans for the day were, and even called us a taxi to take us into Hersonissos town centre some days. The food in the hotel was lovley and all cooked fresh. Especially on the wednesday evening which was BBQ night, we had to pay 15 euros but it was very well worth it, as the food was lovley and their was even entertainment on that night aswell. Even though thier are a approx 20 rooms, its a perfect sized hotel for a relaxing holiday. I would so recommend going to this lovley hotel and meeting the family and having a relxaing and enjoyable holiday thier. I am even lookng at going backnext year, to even meet the same people i originally met out thier. Thanks x x x

Martin Nottingham	We had a wonderful 2 weeks at the apartments. It is a nice small hotel ( only 14 rooms) and run by Dimitris the owner and his family. Dimitris is always there to help in the day, and anything is not too much trouble. By night Ivo ( pronounced Evo) runs the bar ( and will cook food for you etc) Ivo is also lovely. He is very friendy, and is alway showing people tricks and puzzles and generally entertaining the guest, til the last one goes to bed! So he will usually still be there in the morning if you get up early! The hotel was lovely and quiet, with a lovely relaxing feel to it. The pool is just about the right size, and I did my usuall 50 lengths in it each day ( ok its shorter than the 50 I do in the UK, but I was on holiday!) The rooms were great. They were clean and new looking. There is a fridge ans a 2 ring cooker, with pots and pans provided. There was no kettle ( even tho there was one in the photos on the web site) but the cooker boiled water quite quick anyway. Well that about sums it up, a lovely place , lovely owner and staff and a nice hotel to boot. Kaz038 Surrey	I can't fault Mylos Cafe Bar & Apartments . We spent a week here. We arrived early hours to be welcomed by Bob, who showed us our spacious apartment, plus a welcome drink. There was such a great atmosphere, Dimitrisand his team are so friendly and helpful. As there are only a few apartments it makes it more intimate and private.a good location with magnicient views. The pool is a good size, with plenty of sunbeds to relax. The food in the Cafe good and the various cocktails made by Bob 'outstanding!' We enjoyed many evenings around the bar. Good choice of other restaurants nearby and a 20 minute gentle stroll takes you to Hersonossis, where there is plenty of shops bars restaurants etc. Taxi back. A 10 minute taxi ride way is a good water park. Local buses connect you anywhere within the island making historic sights accessible

Carina, Andy and baby Oliver Newcastle-under-Lyme	What a fabulous place! We have recently come back from an amazing week stay at Mylos where everyone was so friendly, especially Dimitris and Babis. There was such a great atmosphere here as there are only a few apartments so it feels more intimate and private. The apartments themselves were very clean and spacious. I always said I would never go back to the same place twice but Mylos has changed that! We'll be going back next year! Thank you Dimitris!

Bevan Manchester	Absolutly Awesome apartments. Everything was great. Pool is a fantastic size considering the amount of apartments. Staff are really friendly - especially bob who makes the effort with everyone. Clean accomodation also with everything required. Perfect.

michael fallon birmingham	this is the first time i have looked at the website and read the comments that other guests have written. i was there when chris and lisa got married and i went back again last year. all i can say is fantastic, the pictures you get on the website are exactly what you get when you get there,not like holiday brochures that take the best angle and views and then you see the bad pionts when you get there. you will be greeted with the most frendliest of hosts in demetris and his family,the accomodation is in spotless,and the entertainment is brilliant . i would recomend staying here to anyone and i bet you you will go back again 10 out of 10.

Chopper & Jo Birmingham, England	well at last a site that's worth writing about, went there 2 years ago and had a fantastic stay, Demitri is a star and handles all guests with patience and politeness, nothing is too much really, the complex is modern, but with charm, as is the location with magnicient views. The Mylos is close to a number of beautiful bars and restaurants, down the road 10 minutes is Hersonissos rocks with it's plentiful bars and clubs, not for the faint hearted. Great place, great apts, great host....fantastic bar, going again this year

Chris & Lisa Lichfield, England	we have viisted Mylos for the last 6 years, although we always agreed not to go back to the same place twice, however you'll see the attraction once your arrive. We fell in love with the beautiful surroundings of Anissaras and the welcome of Mylos and especially the hospitality of the Mountrakis family. So agreed our 50 guests in Sept 2004, when we got married there. Truely accomodation well above Greek standard and i've been to some. Positioned in fantastic and tranquil surroundings, 5 minutes down ther road is Hersonissos for those who want to party that little bit more and can bear to pull yourself away from the Mylos bar. Excellently family run accomodation to suit all ages, very clean and well maintained, nothing is too much trouble for Demitris... well recommended

Jan en Monica Bons Sneek Holland	We've been here in 2006. A very pretty place to stay, nice people. You can walk to the beach if you would like to, there also some fine restaurants. We 'd like it very much! Dimitri has once a week a barbeque, you can meet the other guests there and make some friends!
